How to make Anakapalli jaggery



  • All we know anakapalli is famous for jaggery, you know how farmer made jaggery. It is a 5 hours process.First they collect sugar cane juice from sugarcane.Nearly 2000 sugarcane became a 10KG jaggery.







  • After collecting sugar cane juice in a large kettle ,they kept fire under the kettle .then they start stir for two hours before complete the process they add some CaCo3( Very little bit ) and some integrates ( if require,but not necessary ).








  • After completing two hours juice become like honey ,this sticky juice pour into shaped bowls. After an hour jaggery become hard and ready to use.
